PNR Status - Check PNR Status of IRCTC and Railway Ticket
PNR Status is related to the reservation of railway ticket which comes under Indian railway industry that is the IRCTC. The full form of PNR is Passenger Name Record. If you make a ticket reservation by the Indian railway, this record is updated on their database.
With the help of this number, you can get to know about the itinerary with the IRCTC of the person on whose name this number has been generated.The PNR status (Passenger Name Record) number comprise of 10 digit code. This code is mentioned on the left side of the ticket at the corner. It is basically a record that is maintained by the Central Reservation System (CRS) database by the Indian railway.
This can be generated only after all the information related to the traveler is generated like the name of the passenger, his or her gender, age, the number of the train, the journey class, the preference of the berth, contact information, etc.

How many types of Indian Railways Tickets ?
- Electronic Ticket or E-Ticket is booked online on IRCTC website. The printout of this ticket can be used along with ID to travel.
